2. How Do Springfree Trampolines Work? 

Springfree Trampolines work by creating a design using fiberglass rods instead of springs and crafting the product in such a way that allows the hard metal frame to be positioned away from the jumping surface. Flexible net rods replaced hard net rods and a flexible net replaced a rigid net.

3. Are Springfree Trampolines Safer? 

Comparatively speaking, Springfree Trampolines are safer than traditional, spring-based trampolines, with features like a springless design, FlexiNet, SoftEdge Mat and a hidden frame.

Yes, the bounce of a Springfree Trampoline is comparable to a spring-based bounce. However, the Springfree bounce is different in that it provides a smoother, less jarring bounce.

Springfree Trampolines can hold up to 1,500 pounds at a static weight. However, the single jumper weight capacity of a Springfree Trampoline will be either 175 pounds or 220 pounds depending on the size of model that you’re looking at. 

You can technically jump on the trampoline if you weigh more than the single jumper weight capacity, but risk bottoming out (falling to the ground) if you reach maximum height on the trampoline.

9. How Heavy Is a Springfree Trampoline? 

The weight of a Springfree Trampoline will depend on which model you choose. We'll break down the Trampolines' weights into three categories: 

• Small Trampolines - Around 120-168 pounds
• Medium-Large Trampolines - Around 22o-260 pounds 
• Jumbo Trampolines - Around 260-350 pounds 

10. How Long Does a Springfree Trampoline Last? 

You can expect a Springfree Trampoline to last for at least 10 years, assuming it is being reasonably used. If it is maintained properly, Springfree Trampolines are durable enough to last well beyond 10 years.

There are nine different sizes of Springfree Trampolines, with shapes including four oval trampolines, three round trampolines and two square trampolines. Here are the different sizes by shape: 

• Compact Oval, Medium Oval, Large Oval and Jumbo Oval  

• Mini-Round, Compact Round and Medium Round 

• Large Square and Jumbo Square 

The size of trampoline you should buy will depend on many factors, including the size of your yard and who will be jumping on the trampoline. 

13. How Long Does It Take to Assemble a Springfree Trampoline? 

Because Springfree Trampolines are more complex than traditional trampolines, they may take longer to install and some people may prefer professional installation ($399). 

If you assemble a Springfree Trampoline manually, though, it will normally take 2-3 hours to install. Use the BILT App if assembling manually (two people are recommended for assembly)—it’s free and provides detailed, 3D, instructions for each step in the installation process! 

14. Can You Put a Springfree Trampoline in the Ground? 

Most Springfree Trampolines are installed above the ground, but we’ve seen a very small portion of customers put the legs of the trampoline into the ground. 

While you technically can put a Springfree in the ground, we recommend installing a Springfree above the ground, as that’s how it was meant to be installed. It’s also much easier to move when it is installed above the ground.

The easiest way to transport or move a Springfree Trampoline is to use trampoline wheels that slip under the frame legs. You can purchase our “Shifting Wheels” for $99. 

On some of the smaller models, you can have multiple people pick it up and move it to another location, as well. However, this might be tougher to accomplish on the bigger models.
