Frequently Asked Questions
Small backyard trampolines are safe for kids if you get a high-quality model and follow basic jumping rules.
These rules include one jumper at a time, no flips or tricks (unless trained) and providing supervision when necessary.
Safety is Springfree Trampoline’s defining feature.
The springless design, flexible enclosure system, jump mat with no hard edges and “hidden” frame are why Springfree is the only type of trampoline to eliminate 90% of product-related injuries.
Besides the top-notch safety features, Springfree’s heavy-duty Small Trampolines also include:
- A 10-year warranty on all parts – the only company to offer this.
- Full weather-resistant features to sustain through all four seasons.
- The maximization of jumping space. Ex: An 8 ft Springfree Trampoline is equivalent to a 10 ft spring-based trampoline.
Small outdoor trampolines cost anywhere from $200-$1,200, depending largely on the brand and size.
Springfree’s Smaller Trampoline sizes and prices are as follows:
- Springfree Mini Round Trampoline (6 ft, $799)
- Springfree Compact Oval Trampoline (6 ft x 9 ft, $999)
- Springfree Compact Round Trampoline (8 ft, $1,199)
Small backyard trampolines can hold up to 1,300 pounds, which is the total weight capacity of Springfree’s smaller models.
The single jumper weight limits are different for every brand.
For the three small Springfree Trampolines, the single jumper weight limit is 175 pounds.
You can still jump if you weigh over the limit but be careful about reaching maximum height.
Due to the lesser single jumper weight capacities and jumping room, adults would be better served looking at Springfree’s Medium and Large Trampolines if interested in an outdoor trampoline.
They hold single jumper weight limits of 220 pounds and offer more room to jump.
Whether you should buy a small Springfree Trampoline depends on your long-term goals.
The small Springfree models are built for compact backyards. They are best if used as recreation trampolines for younger children (6-12 would be a good age range).
If you plan on having your child grow up with a Springfree Trampoline and have enough space, we recommend buying a bigger model.
It’ll save you from having to upgrade in the future as your child grows up!
