• Select a clear, level area in your yard for the trampoline,  
• Ensure the slope doesn't exceed three degrees if the spot is not level. 
• Provide 3-5 ft of safe lateral clearance around the trampoline, avoiding hard obstructions like fences or sheds.  

Ultimately, where you place your trampoline is up to you. However, following the recommendations above will ensure that your children are as safe as possible while jumping.
