The majority of U.S. parents are unsure whether holiday toys are a good investment according to our new 2018 Holiday Toy Survey. Nearly three-quarters of parents said their children only play with toys they receive as gifts during the holidays for six months or less. However, most parents (70%) expect children’s toys to last at least one to three years.
The survey findings show a clear disconnect between how long parents expect their children’s toys to last and how long children actually play with these toys, and that parents are generally dissatisfied with the investment they make in toys during the holiday season given this disparity.
Based on this survey, here are a few tips to help you maximize your holiday gift budgets and increase the longevity of the toys purchased for your kids:
The Springfree Trampoline Holiday Toy Survey polled more than 1,000 parents across the United States on their holiday toy spending and kids’ toy preferences.
