Springfree™ Trampoline IS statistically proven to be the world’s safest trampoline.
Springfree™ Trampoline IS statistically proven to be the world’s safest trampoline. The Springfree™ Trampoline is not just 1% or 2% safer – independent laboratory testing shows our design eliminates the causes of 83% of trampoline injuries. All other trampolines sold in the market place are inherently more dangerous by design – despite the overlay of attempted safety accessories, including impact attenuation padding and rigid enclosures.
Quoted data is sourced from the National Electronic Injury Surveillance System (NIESS) and to compare recent trampoline injury demographics and injury characteristics with those previously published for 1990 - 1995 using the same data source.

PROVEN DATA
FACT 1
By removing the springs and frame from the same plane as the jumping surface and adding a flexible enclosure, Springfree™ Trampoline has eliminated the impact areas that cause 83% of all trampoline injuries. The remaining 17% of recorded trampoline injuries requiring hospitalisation are caused by jumper collision. This means Springfree™ Trampoline has effectively removed the risk of equipment induced injury.
Table 1: Summary of Trampoline Injury Statistics
| Cause | Percent |
| Fall off of trampoline | 52% |
| Fall onto the frame or springs | 31% |
| Hit another child on the trampoline | 17% |
FACT 2
Industry Standard impact ratings for trampoline based impacts (Head Injury Criterion - HIC) calculate that if a child's head falls from 1.5m on to a traditional trampoline with perimeter frame there is a ~99% chance of injury. This rating is calculated AFTER the addition of rigid jumping enclosures and basic safety pads. These "safety features" do not change this statisically derived injury rating. The most recent USA based studies show an increase of 113% in Emergency Department (ED) visits for trampoline-related injuries over the previous study period, with a mean of 88,563 ED visits per year for trampoline-related injuries among 0-18 year-olds, 95% of which occurred at home. Recent studies suggest these hospitalizations represent only ~10% of all injuries caused – suggesting more than 800,000 American children are injured on old style trampolines each year.
FACT 3
Applying the same test regime to the Springfree™ Trampoline results in a statistically derived risk assement showing there is a ~99% chance of NO injury in these areas (springs and frame) using the Springfree™ Trampoline.
