Last week Canada’s gold medalist and Springfree ambassador Rosie MacLennan stopped by our Markham office for the first time since being home from the London 2012 Olympics!

However, her visit was for more than just a hello – we were bringing Rosie in for a photoshoot.

Local photographer James Heaslip took some fantastic shots of Rosie with her brand new gold medal. There a lot of laughs, outfit changes and set ups, and all of the photos turned out great!

We’re halfway through the month of November but some of you may refer to this month as… Movember.

If you’re a frequent reader of the Springfree Trampoline blog, you know that we love anything related to the following: trampolines, family time and health and wellness. The Movember campaign raises funds and awareness for men’s health, specifically prostate cancer. 

For the entire month of Movember, “Mo Bros” dedicate their faces to the campaign. They grow a moustache to become walking and talking billboards for the movement to “change the face of men’s health”.

Ladies, don’t fret if you can’t grow a moustache. “Mo Sistas” can also participate. 

The Canadian Springfree office has a team of Mo Bros: Mo-scular Men.

Movember’s campaign values are fun, caring and innovative. We can most definitely relate to these values and Springfree Trampoline is happy to participate in this important cause.

Bright and early on Mother’s Day, Springfree™ Trampoline greeted families participating in the Markham Women’s 5K & Girls’ 1K with a fun opportunity: a chance to jump on one of our trampolines.

We had our R79 model on site and the young race participants got a chance to bounce before their run. What a great way to warm up before their 1K race!

Our trampoline was quite the popular attraction among the younger crowd. One of the jumpers squealed “This is SO worth the wait!” as she bounced enthusiastically.

To show our support, a team of Springfree™ Trampoline staff – Chelsea, Katie and Megan – participated in the 5K run under the team name “All the Springfree Ladies”. Our team placed 12^th out of 63 teams. Great run, ladies!

In partnership with the Markham Women’s 5K & Girls’ 1K, we were happy to support a worthy cause: Plan Canada’s Because I am a Girl campaign. It’s fitting that we helped empower women and girls around the world on a day we celebrate the most important women in our lives: our moms.

Because I am a Girl is Plan Canada’s ongoing campaign to fight gender inequality. Watch the video below to find out more about the campaign:

‘Product of the Year’ is one of the largest polls on product innovation. The field nominees are narrowed down by a panel of industry judges and consumers ultimately determine the winners.

Steven Holmes, CEO of Springfree™ Trampoline, says it’s a huge honour to bear this designation and to be reconignised by consumers.

“ We were honored to win in our category, so to then find out we were the overall judges choice was amazing”.

‘Product of the Year’ is one of the largest polls on product innovation. TNS Canadian Facts, the world’s formost custom research firm will conduct the study, utilising over 12,000 consumers to determine which companies and products will be honoured.

The award aims to help consumers make the right decision when buying items and encourage companies to make better products for consumers.
