Chicken in a can… sounds wrong, but amazingly alright

Chicken in a Can

I stumbled on a truly weird product at the supermarket when in Melbourne for our Springfree Trampoline Customer Christmas party.

Chicken. In a can.

For reasons unknown, the fact chicken could be preserved and served fascinates me.

It sounds so wrong, against all the food poisoning messages drummed into me at cooking class. So, intrigued by the concept , I purchased a tin… described as “ premium chicken breast meat. It is high in protein and low in fat.

Just like canned Tuna it makes quick and easy meals or snacks. It is fully cooked and ready to eat!” (www.chop-chop.com.au)

I am still completely shocked that I not only liked it, but purchased 8 tins over the weekend for work lunches, which I already ate. Chicken in a can, is worth a try.

Right, chop chop, time to stop being asinine and sell some trampolines ;)

P.S – Will find some other interesting things to review!
